Less Is More Terms of Trade

1.            Introduction


Welcome to Less is More. By engaging with us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions of Service (Terms). If you have any questions, please contact us.


2.            Our Services


Our services will be set out in our quote document. Our services may include:

·           sorting and organizing belongings

·           packing items securely

·           coordinating with moving companies

·           disposing of unwanted items

·           organising third party services

·           unpacking and setting up your new home


3.            Booking and Payments


To book our services, please contact us to schedule a consultation. We’ll discuss your needs and provide a quote.

A deposit may be required to secure your booking. We will inform you of the amount and payment terms as part of our quote.

Full payment is due on completion of our services.

We accept payment via bank transfer or credit card.


4.            Third party services


If our services include organising third party service providers (such as trades, removal, storage, packing or moving companies), we may invoice you on behalf of those service providers or they may invoice you directly. You acknowledge that all such services are provided directly to you by those service providers (and are subject to their own terms of trade). We may add a margin to service providers’ invoices and/or receive a commission from those service providers. The total amount that you have to pay will be set out in our quote.

 

5.            Cancellation and Changes


If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 7 days in advance to avoid cancellation fees.

If you cancel 7 days of the scheduled service, a cancellation fee (as set out in our quote) may apply.

If you need to make changes to your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request.


6.            Responsibilities


You must:

·           ensure that our team has clear access to your home and any items to be dealt with; and

·           inform us of any special requirements or concerns related to your belongings or property.


We will:

·           provide the services described in our quote;

·           manage any third party service providers as set out in our quote; and

·           handle your belongings with care and take reasonable steps to prevent damage.


7.            Liability


We are not liable for any damage to items or property caused by factors beyond our control, such as pre-existing damage, fragile items not properly packed, or third-party actions.

You must insure all of your belongings.

Our liability for any loss or damage caused by our negligence is limited to the amount you have paid for our services.


8.            Privacy


We respect your privacy. Any personal information you provide will be used only for the purposes of delivering our services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent. For more details, see our Privacy Policy on our website.


9.            Health and Safety


We will follow all relevant health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

You must inform us of any specific health or safety concerns that may affect our work.


10.       Dispute Resolution


If you have any concerns or issues with our services, please contact us first. We will work with you to resolve the matter.

If we cannot resolve the issue, you may seek resolution through the appropriate consumer dispute resolution process.


11.       Changes to Terms


We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services means you agree to the updated terms.
